WHAT IS A BETTER COUNTERTOP? GRANITE OR QUARTZ?

Both products are excellent choices for either a kitchen or a bathroom. Granite is a mix of different minerals. The mix results in patterns, color variations, and veining. Quartz is a crystal just a couple of notches below diamond on the “hardness scale”. It is an engineered product; crushed, colored, then pressed back into a slab form producing a non porous material that doesn’t require sealing.

HOW LONG DOES A KITCHEN/BATH REMODELING PROJECT USUALLY TAKE?

The build time depends on the size and extent of the remodel. Masters uses only employee labor (not subs) and our craftsmen are assigned one job at a time. The work is continuous from start to finish. Most kitchens take 5-8 weeks and a full bathroom can take 3-5 weeks.

DOES A COMPLETE KITCHEN/BATH REMODEL INCREASE THE VALUE OF MY HOME?

The most valuable room in any home, in terms of resale, is the kitchen followed by the master bath. The exact amount a renovation might add to the value would depend on the local market and the extent of the remodel.

DO I NEED TO HAVE DESIGN IDEAS BEFORE I START THE RENOVATION PROCESS?

No! Any ideas are welcome, but a trained designer may open up new possibilities. Merging your ideas with design expertise can create new and exciting options.

Working with Marc, Angel and Petar was a wonderful experience. They took our old and unworkable kitchen and made it a beautiful and functional space. To begin with, they gave us a choice of two custom floor plans. The one we chose called for walling up one of the three doorways into the kitchen and reducing the size of a huge picture window that allowed for greater cabinet and counter space. The one-stop shopping showroom made the process of choosing cabinets, floors, backsplash, granite and all the miscellaneous hardware simple and fun. They carefully demo’d the old kitchen and just as carefully constructed a dream space. Petar is a perfectionist and kept in constant communication throughout the process. He is meticulous in his work which included cleaning the area every night before leaving. Marc and Angel were also readily available during the process. The total cost was exactly as estimated with no extras. It’s a joy to cook in our new kitchen. We were so happy with the final result that we have contracted with Masters Kitchen and Bath to do one of our bathrooms.
