Everyone we dealt with was very professional, friendly, and helpful. Marc did a great job of walking us through the whole process…We were then able to pick out EVERYTHING in... their showroom… Since we were total novices in kitchen remodeling, Marc had to educate us about things like back splashes, granite and quartz counter and different grades of stainless steel sinks. Igor did the actual work from stripping the kitchen down to the studs, to redoing wiring and plumbing, laying the floor, painting walls, hanging the cabinets, installing the under the cabinet lights, and the tile back splash. Igor is truly a master craftsman. A friend told me I should have a punch list, but we have found no problems at all. We are delighted with our new kitchen and would not hesitate to recommend Masters Kitchen and Bath to our friends and neighbors.

MKB renovated our kitchen in Lincoln Park condo. We were looking for someone who could provide recommendations rather than just take notes of what we wanted. Marc was far... more creative in providing a design and layout than the others that we met with. We liked that MKB had a showroom and a computer design expert who could show us renderings of various proposals . They also bricked up a window to provide more space in what was a crowded work area. We felt comfortable enough, that we contracted for the work to be done while we were out of town. Everyone agrees that you would never know there was ever a window there. When we got home in June, Igor was making last minute adjustments ready to do any final tweaking that we wanted. We may have paid slightly more for MKB, but we are happy to say we got the quality and peace of mind that they promised us.

The designer was creative and responsive to our wants and needs. The contractor and trades used were very professional, timely and performed quality work. The timeline was... exact. We will use them again in the future and recommend them to others.

All the other contractors we met with asked what we wanted and we told them. We wanted a walk in pantry and possibly to remove a wall in the kitchen. We wanted new... cabinets, counter tops, lighting, etc. We even hired an architect to make a plan for us and it was mostly finished when I had met Marc. Marc did ask want I wanted, but then suggested a few things and tried to change my mind on others. I have to admit that I was less than receptive to the suggestions. He had said that a walk in pantry was a waste of space and that several other pieces of the plan we had were not designed well. He told me that if I wanted he would measure our place and then I could come out and see what his certified kitchen designer Angel could whip up. No obligation. I convinced my wife to at least see what they were offering and we drove out to the showroom. They showed us a three-dimensional rendering that really improved the space. It was well designed in a unique and very stylish way. We were blown away. The price was the most expensive of all the people that we had talked to. There also wasn’t any wiggle room or haggling, the price was the price. They said that the project would take six weeks. They called and said that they were finishing another project a little early and they start the first week in November, and that is when they started. Igor, was meticulous, hardworking and very polite. They worked with my condo ass ociation to schedule the cabinets and they removed the garbage every day. The Job was finished on December 18th, Which is a few days ahead of schedule. We could not be more pleased with the work by this company and will recommend them to anyone who asks. In fact, when we redo our bath they will be the first company we call. I put together two videos of the work so you can see the construction.

We have all heard horror stories about the relationships between contractors and clients. This story is not one of those. We waited nearly 10 years to completely overhaul the kitchen... and enclosed porch on our 1924 bungalow. Here’s our tale of joy: We interviewed three different design/build contractors. Only MKB listened to our needs for this decrepit kitchen. Although the price was higher than the others, we felt the attention to detail and commitment to quality was apparent from our first meeting with Marc and Angel. The 3D renderings were really helpful to a visual person like me. Angel was able to make the space come to life. Petar was our installer and was incredibly competent, clean, thoughtful, and 100% committed to quality. He tore out the kitchen completely and overhauled the electrical and plumbing. There was a new lighting design and relocated appliance hookups. There was a new floor and floor to ceiling cabinets with under cabinet and in cabinet lighting. New quartz countertops were set off with travertine tile back splashes. They installed a new hood and painted the entire space. Overall the kitchen was finished by Thanksgiving and the back two rooms were finished by the second week of December. We could not be more pleased and thrilled. Working with MKB is proof positive of the old adage goes, “You get what you pay for.” I could not recommend Marc, Angel, Petar and the entire team at Masters Kitchen and Bath more highly.

Masters Kitchen and Bath did our two bathrooms so when the time came to remodel the basement they were the obvious choice. They provided a design that worked best for us. The best... part is that the crew is the same from start to finish. They are very polite, courteous, clean up after themselves; you don’t have to worry about leaving them alone. The basement was a complete gut with an all new layout. Electrical, plumbing, walls, insulation, flooring, bathroom, and bar. All in all an exceptional experience. We love our basement! Highly recommended.

Everything went perfect and on time as it was supposed to! Marc, the general manager, was great to work with. We met him first and he really was one of the main reasons we decided to... go with Masters. Angel, the designer, had great ideas and was always willing to meet with us whenever and wherever was required. He was brilliant! Alex, the person who actually did the work, was on time every day and went quickly and quietly about his work leaving my home as clean as possible each day when he left. He was excellent and did a beautiful job. He is truly a craftsman. What more can I say…other than we are as happy as larks with our remodel!

They renovated my kitchen. From design to installation, Masters was always professional and did great work. They can be a bit pricy but, if you are like me and don’t get into the whole... “spending months looking for cabinets and such at Home Depot”, this company is for you.

Marc came to the house to find out what we wanted done then we then made an appointment to go to the showroom to pick out all the materials. This was one thing I liked about... dealing with MKB, we went to one place to pick everything out and we didn’t have to waste time shopping around. Angel, the designer, put it all on the computer, and there was our kitchen. It was a bit pricey at first, but we did pick out really good materials. We asked if at the end will there be extras added. Marc said absolutely not. There was only one carpenter working at our house. Petar takes pride in his work, so everything he did was perfect. We have 3 large dogs, and Petar always called when he came and when he needed to leave, to ensure the dogs were in the house. We knew our floor was slanted, but Petar discovered it also had a dip in it. He stripped the entire floor and sub floor in order to level the floor. The floor I picked was porcelain tile in long planks that look like wood. It took longer than anticipated, but I love my kitchen and I love the work that Petar did. Anytime I called or emailed Marc, he responded very quickly. I have dealt with a few contractors in my years, and I have to say this would be the first time I would recommend MKB and I would also do business with them again. If I get my bathroom done I will definitely call MKB to do the bathroom, and I would ask for Petar. I gave Price a B, only because it was more than our budget, but my kitchen was worth every penny. Also Marc kept his word, we would only pay the price on the contract, and that is what we paid. We were also given a 5 year warranty, which I have never seen a contractor give.

Masters Kitchen and Bath remodeled our kitchen taking it from drab to gorgeous. Our kitchen had the original cabinets that were still in good shape, but didn’t provide enough storage... space. When I began looking for a company that did kitchen remodels I came across Masters Kitchen and Bath. I was impressed with the Angie’s List rating and with the glowing reviews that were written by former customers. From the initial visit to the final walk through, I have been very pleased not only with their professionalism but with theireye for detail. I finally got my dream kitchen and I enjoy entertaining in it. I look forward to having MKB remodel our master bath in the future.

We had a wonderful experience with Master’s Kitchen and Bath. We worked with Mark, Angel and Igor for our kitchen remodel and we couldn’t be happier! Not only was the project... on time and on budget, but the result is beautiful. We had a vision for our kitchen, and working with Mark and Angel helped refine and perfect that vision. The layout, function and look are perfect. Our installer, Igor, was incredible. We have an older home and walls and ceiling aren’t exactly level. Igor was meticulous and made sure that everything was as close to perfect as humanly possible. We can’t say enough wonderful things about Igor and the entire crew. The other nice thing was the one stop shopping. We were able to see and choose all the materials at their location. So nice!
