This 1930’s Georgian, in Park Ridge, has an existing rear addition leading to a spacious backyard. In this space is a very dark kitchen with an oddly placed window, a powder room, and family room with a fireplace. After redesigning the kitchen and dry bar we closed up the window and helped the client choose current colors and textures. By extending the wall to the right of the dry bar we were able to accommodate a pull out pantry and built in micro/oven. The light quartz countertops play well with the crackle glazed, arabesque, backsplash. And the gray island and modern gray walls, along with shiplap accents, complete this well-appointed space.
