20 or 30 years ago a master bathroom was added to the finished basement of this 1950’s Georgian home. With dark brown tile countertops, a tiny prefab shower, and a gigantic oversized whirlpool bathtub surrounded by shag carpet, this space was dark and depressing.

We totally reconfigured the space to provide for a luxurious whirlpool tub and a generous modern tile shower complete with a quartz bench and heavy plate glass walls and door. This is now an elegant master bath with lots of light, storage, and even a heated towel rack.
