This classic Chicago home built in the 1800’s was completely renovated 6 years prior. Unfortunately the developer cut corners. The kitchen was contemporary with inexpensive frameless cherry veneered cabinets. The layout was poor leaving some cabinets very difficult to access.
The space was good and it opened to a family room area. We moved the peninsula that blocked off some wall cabinets and added a large island. Now the kitchen functions properly and is ideal for entertaining and serving the family room. Rich dark stained solid maple cabinets with light quartz countertops create the clean, modern, elegant look that this home deserves.
