A young family purchased an elegant vintage Victorian home. The galley kitchen was dark and cramped; not well suited to this family with small children.
The challenge was finding a way to accommodate more cooking space, large appliances, a space for casual family dining, and (by the way) space for a cooler for craft beers. The result is a light open kitchen with a table for four integrated into the kitchen counter. An unused corner was transformed into a charming bar for beer or wine. Now this space suits this family’s needs and works as the center piece for entertaining guests.
