Spacious 1990’s suburban home had an open kitchen with builder grade finishes. The layout needed some tweaking, and a good size pantry closet was underutilized space. The owner wanted a much large range and a professional hood, plus a bar to serve the adjacent family room.
We removed a closet and expanded the cabinets and countertops to maximize the available space. Richly stained maple cabinets with a crown molding replaced the blonde oak. A space was provided for the 48″ range and hood which are now the focal point of the kitchen. The pantry closet was replaced with an elegant bar and pantry cabinet in a cream painted finish to match the island.
