Another Chicago bungalow with another small well worn kitchen and a terrible layout. The single homeowner hoped it could be a little fresher looking, but couldn’t imagine how it could be much better. We replaced the black and white checkerboard vinyl tile with natural oak flooring, and swapped the small kitchen table for a stylish island with seating. By extending the cabinets and counters onto a second wall, we created a modern kitchen with plenty of cabinet and counter top space. With new lighting in the ceiling and under cabinet, the tired cramped kitchen became bright, inviting, and efficient.
